Sexual Assault Response Team

SART offers a multi-disciplinary team approach, working with forensic nurse examiners, crisis counselors and law enforcement. Sexual assault is defined as any sexual act that occurs against a person’s will. It is a violent crime that can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. In most cases it is someone known to the victim. If you should find yourself a victim of sexual assault, remember…you are not alone. It wasn’t your fault. We, at the SGVMC SART Center, are here to help.
